Wrong clue

I had to do this after looking at Rex Parker's NY times crossword post, he didn't mention the mistake in Eric Shortz's Wednesday crossword, WWI code talkers, (Choctaw indians) there were no "code talkers in WWI, that was in WWII! So much for Mr. Parker's sharpness. Not to mention Mr. Shortz. He also once let in a clue where he called army medics "corpsmen", and all military men know thats the Marine Corps. He also said an M1 was a carbine. They should be stood against the wall as Grouch Marx once famously sang in Duck Soup.
